Melody Ramos is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student with at Capella University under the supervision of Dr. Sharp. Melody provides services to pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, and individuals who are neurodivergent, struggle with anxiety, and/or facing challenges with emotional regulation. Her clients are often navigating significant life transitions or dealing with stress and behavioral concerns. The obstacles that often get in their way include overwhelming emotions, self-doubt, and the complexity of managing their unique neurodivergent traits.

Melody is committed to serving her clients by creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She values her clients' strengths and incorporates them into therapy to help foster growth and positive change. Through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy, she guides her clients in developing healthier coping strategies and emotional resilience.

Melody is proud of her extensive experience working with individuals with diverse needs, including those with ADHD, autism, and other neurodevelopmental differences. She stands for the belief that everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and supported in their journey toward mental well-being. Right now, her clients need to hear that change is possible, and with the right guidance, they can overcome the obstacles they face and build a life that reflects their true potential. Melody is committed to walking alongside her clients as they make these positive, lasting changes. As a clinician, Melody’s values include:

Outside of her professional work, Melody loves spending time with her daughter and family, finding joy in the connections and support they share. Melody is a proud UTSA cheer alumni and enjoys watching sports and supporting the Roadrunners!
