Janelle is a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling Intern. With experience in community mental health, crisis management, and chemical dependency counseling, Janelle knows that though life can be quite dark, you can always find a little light.
Janelle works to cultivate a safe, judgment-free space to process, grow, and heal so individuals can live more wholly and authentically. She helps people who long to “get unstuck” and who feel overwhelmed by interpersonal relationship issues, life changes, trauma, substance abuse, or other life stressors.
Janelle believes that with a little courage and self-love, even the largest of mountains can be conquered. That is why Janelle is excited to join you on your healing journey.
Janelle values meeting people where they are with empathy and compassion. Janelle strives to live authentically and believes therapeutic healing happens with human connection.
Community is vital to Janelle. When not working, Janelle enjoys spending time with her partner, friends, and family. She also enjoys fostering animals, giving concerts to her dogs and cat, visiting museums, exploring San Antonio, reading, and crocheting.
